Motorola Press Release re: Qualcomm

While it says pricing pressure is up, it does say digital sales are improving and that the industry is transitioning to digital. Qualcomm may move on this tidbit of information.

I sold my puts today. I'm always too early on these sorts of things. I bet we go to 45 and then bounce back.

Maurice,

Crash and burn. Ramsey Su vacation indicator at work.

Greetings from Beijing. News not all that good here. At best China should be facing a recession, at worst, who knows. They call unemployment "off duty" here. Millions of civil service workers to be laid off. The worst being the 40-50 age group who had no education and had never applied for a job in their life. I think the camp that is looking for China to bail out Asia is overly optimistic at this time. Maurice, don't count on China to meet your lofty subsriber projections. The masses here are still very poor, and at the moment getting poorer, though the corrupt are very well off.

qdog, did you tape the Billy G hearings? I am sure you would not deny yourself the pleasure of watching him grilled. Why isn't MSFT dn 20 points is still beyond my comprehension.
