LOTS OF NUMBERS FLOATING AROUND: RE: MORTON DOWNEY, JR As I understand it, Firmada is "producing" the Morton Downey Jr. show, much the same as Multi-Media produced Sally Jesse Raphael. The producer assumes the expense of the shows production, in return for the revenues generated by the sale of advertisement. Mr. Monas said that FAMH has "already sold all of the sponsorship" of the program. This amounts to 100-125k/day REVENUES [not profits]. He then went on to say that this money is the "gravy that will be used to fund further acquisitions." ISSUES DISCUSSED ON CC CALL THAT WERE OF INTEREST: 1] No more common or preferred stock will be used for acquisitions 2] The stock trades more like the NYSE stocks, in that the spread is nearly always tight. 3] 10 mil in the float. ISSUES I LIKE ABOUT FAMH: 1] I agree with dexx that they are extremely professional and serious about their IR. Not like a few hundred others I could name. 2] "Final audited EPS for 1997 is .1085 per share." 3] Professional/technical staffing is a rapidly growing industry. ISSUES I AM STILL UNEASY ABOUT: 1] The filing of SB-2, obviously showing how the outstanding shares went from 22mil to 40mil. 2] Warrants are planned to increase capitalization for NASDAQ/AMEX listing. 3] More concern with "looking good" by talking about acquisitions and future earnings than SEC filings of 10k or 10q. Stockholders are generally first interested in what their shares are WORTH today. And second, that the company is willing to "go on public record" by filing with the SEC. Not SB-2, but 10q or 10k. BOTTOM LINE: I am encouraged and excited about the long-term prospects, but am cautious in the near-term until I see a 10 filed. [6 weeks in NETZ will do that to you] Trade safely, Rande Is ~~NOTE: No statement made here or on any thread constitutes a recommendation to buy or sell stock. I hold a small long position in FAMH. Do your own research. Penny stocks are risky investments.
