BZZ- NEWS Mar 10, 1998 Blackstone Resources Inc BZZ Shares issued 6,983,500 1998-03-09 close $0.54 Tuesday Mar 10 1998 Mr Donald McInnes reports Following are initial sampling results from Blackstone's first phase reconnaissance exploration program on the El Diamante and La Turquesa concessions, Chihuahua State, Mexico. The properties are in the Sierra Madre gold belt and lie north of the El Sauzal property of Francisco Gold. Significant gold values from the Encino Gordo zone include 3.4 g/t gold, 0.13% lead and 0.25% zinc over 6m. Other grades obtained from chip samples include 2.9 g/t gold over 4m and 6 g/t gold over 1.4m. The samples have been taken from within a 700m long by 500m wide anomalous gold zone whose limits have yet to be defined. The company is currently planning a second phase exploration program consisting of gridwork, detailed geological mapping, prospecting and soil sampling to define drill targets. Blackstone has an option to earn a 100% interest in the concessions subject to an nsr by making some cash and exploration expenditures over a three year period.
