Nizzo, For all the talk that went on previously on the board about book value, etc. I am not a part of that promotion. The only way that Henley has tangible book value is in holding a strong cash position. I think the financials for the first quarter of CY 1998 will reveal the source of the statement on Henley's website about book value. Henley's cash and other near cash asset position has to be in excess of $20 million for them to speak of a $2.50 per share book value and to qualify for Nasdaq small cap that position can justify a share value of around $4.00.

I have been told that Henley meets all the capital requirements today for a small cap Nasdaq listing save their share price. Now a company flush with cash does not justify a high stock price they have to have a saleable strategy for future growth. There are a lot pieces to assemble to get the share price to $4.00 but I think I have seen in the past week the beginnings of this.

As to the "market" ignoring the press release yes that is true. But the "market" in this case is highly unsophisticated in its ability to read between the lines of a preliminary earnings statement. Henley is hampered by conflicts and gag rules when still finalizing the acquisition of Magra from pumping Magra which might unduly influence the value of Magra's stock on the TSE's CDN up in Canada. I've mentioned before that Magra is an independent play on CDN as well.

I hope you are in for the long term (2-3 months)
