APM dead but not forgotten huh?

Motorola (MOT) : Update: MOT is trading at 51 1/8 in after-market trading, down from its NY close of 55 7/8. Unlike Intel, Motorola's warning was largely, though not entirely, an Asia story. MOT said that the most significant factor behind its warning was weakness in the semiconductor area due to "softness in demand in Asia and increased price pressure in most other regional semiconductor markets." The company also cited pricing pressure in digital handsets from manufacturers who benefitted from Asia's currency devaluations. On a positive note, Japan and China were cited as exceptions to the more substantial weakness in countries hit by currency devaluations. Finally, Motorola says that it sees some signs of Asia's economic issues abating and reaffirms its long term commitment to Asian markets.
