Mr. Dave,

Getting testy now aren't we. Read from your post below. When you said thousands a day, you were referring to posts. Let's not tell little lies under the guise of correcting my posts. I'll keep this one short and sweet.

Don

Some threads don't get but a couple of posts a month.
Some get thousands a day... How do you know how many people are lurking on this
thread when Jill doesn't even know. The numbers involved here are huge, most of whom
never post. How can anyone even pretend that what is written on these threads about a
company won't affect whether people buy it or not?

Dave,

This is what I said about the number of posts on this thread:

You may be correct that some threads have thousands of posts a day. Here we are
talking about a thread that can at times top one hundred. I haven't looked, but if you
check the number of posts made during the fall of the stock I am sure it was much less. I
say this with confidence because I was reading the thread during this period.

Here was your brilliant response:

Further, this particular thread has had some 1300 posts since the last part of
December, not a few hundred. You are
not getting your facts or figures right, so things look like you'd like them to look. that's
just not being honest to yourself or others.

Note that I said the thread can at times top one hundred per day, a feat not achieved until this week. Then I stated that the daily total during the fall of the stock was much less. I said nothing about a few hundred posts.

The facts, if you care to look them up are as follows:

-First hundred post day (March 3 - 105 posts)
-Second hundred post day (March 4 - 154 posts)
-March 5, still posting but already over 100
-December through February, 904 posts, average 10 per day
-ACRT high of 30 on Nov 30, closing price Feb 27 was 11 11/16
-The means that ACRT lost a tad over 2 cents per post, Dec through Feb
-I realize that the February average was 20.6, so don't correct me

Now your response to my post pointing out 1300 posts not hundreds also stretches the truth. You are implying thousands because of the 1.3 thousand figure. I see it as 13 hundreds, which is a hundred a week, very consistent with my original statement. In fact it was only 9 hundreds during the fall of the stock.

Now here is another interesting fact. There have been 446+ posts this week, the first five days of March. This is almost exactly half the number of posts in the 13 weeks from Dec 1 to Feb 28. I suggest that this dramatic increase could be attributed to your arrival.

My two posts show your little twists of the facts from one post I made earlier this evening. It is a feeble attempt to discredit a very reasonable summation of the affect of this thread on the price of the stock. What a shame the stock didn't drop 2 cents a post this week.

You, sir, are a charlatan.

Don
