Here you go--Think this solves the "left a meeting" statement, and explains the warnings statement relayed by Maria.

PC analyst Andy Neff at Bear Stearns has told his sales force that the odds of a CPQ warning have increased to 50%.

And here's the good stuff: he says late last night CPQ CFO Earl Mason abruptly pulled out of an analyst meeting that they were scheduled to appear at today, being hosted by one of their largest reseller customers, Inacom. Mason will phone in his presentation instead. Guess he didn't want to take the heat in person.

I was unable to reach Neff, as he is at the meeting, but I did speak to his assistant in NYC. He said that there is no doubt the company will miss the numbers, but it is not clear if a warning is actually in the stock.

Here's my take: it's NEVER in the stock. :)
