Tony,

Take a look at the Nikkei and the rest of the Asian markets. What I find interesting is that they don't seem to be under a lot of selling pressure today. The Nikkei is up and that is *after* the Motorola announcement. Yes, it is a different market, but when things are really bad, there tends to be a fair amount of sympathy between them.

This still does not mean that this is good news for biotechs. I doubt that a lot of the money going out of these guys is going into the biotechs. Stocks like LGND still have comparatively small followings. Then again, their float is small so it doesn't take all that much to move the price up.
