Moe - regarding your problem with IR at DSC:

I am an individual investor just like you. However, I realize that IR at DSC does not have the time nor the bodies to answer every single question from every single investor that chooses to call them. They are busy spending time on the phone with individuals that either own a large stake in the company or that advise them. Yes, in a perfect world, it would be nice if they hired someone to address our questions on this thread, but it just won't happen because individual investors just don't influence the stock as these analyst-types do. If you want real-time info, open your wallet and get a good broker at one of these firms. By the way, how many shares do you own, if you don't mind me asking?

To everyone else:

You guys are thinking too short-term (which I realize some of you are more geared toward). DSC has some great products - Litespan and STPs, among others. Being priced where they are, one can reasonably assume that someone notices this. Has anyone noticed the call volume activity the past two weeks? Check it out and be assured, even though the short-term might not be as rosy as it maybe was in 1995, the investment in DSC looks a whole lot better now than then (for those who like to buy and hold stock, that is). And remember, the Optilink acquisition was not considered a good acquisition for a good while, but look at where the Litespan product is now! If only one of the recent acquisitions is as successful as that one (Denmark, Celcore), watch out!
