unfortunately, I am in the same boat with many others, so listening to me at your own peril - Ibexx can bear witness <VBG>

I don't know much about TXN and CPQ except what I read online. They are not in favor now. While Gruntal & Co is still plugging for TXN, CPQ is undergoing a lot of changes. The plus side is it is trying to hedge its business. Unlike DELL, it tries to break into ENTERPRISE with TANDEM and SERVICE with DEC acquisitions. The negatives are obviously a matter of (in)digestion. Also, technically [stockwise,] people have already voted for DELL against CPQ [note: I don't own DELL, but I did buy a notebook from him a few weeks ago - and I am impressed with his ability to turn inventories.]
