Well- written post. I agree.

Now the question is how to value what's left. I must admit, I'm having a hard time. What we don't know is critical to the valuation process. Also I'm scared about how all this could be harming their customer relations.

don't beat yourself up too bad. the most difficult "intangible" to evaluate is management capability yet, as you point out, it is perhaps the most important one. many companies falter when they attempt to take the leap into "show-time" and I think that is perhaps what is happening to ACTM. Current ACTM management does not have what it takes -in terms of marketing and management skills- to "manage" and "bring" the company into the next level. I think the events of the last 2 quarters bear witness to that fact. We are at a crucial stage here: PINO better take a hard, determined look at himself and at what has occurred. It may be time to do what is in the best interests of the shareholders of the company but that may not be what his "ego" is telling him.
