After today's onslaught, what would a short do after watching, of all stocks, INTC get slammed and then witnessing (only) a 5% drop in DELL?

My point is, after today's action, a split occurring tomorrow after the close and (in summation) analysts agreeing that pc sales are in good shape...I'm not sure being short is a good idea.

There is no channel so there is no surprise. DELL sells computers not chips etc... and of all concerns, Asia is of no direct factor. All these arguments about low end machines etc... and DELL's margins will crash? HOW? CPQ and the rest of the gang will be whacked far before DELL.

Not everyone buys a GEO. Some of us prefer a full size vehicle.
