Amigofolio Update: ANTX .... quiet day. Above average volume for the last week or so. Year end results due any day. IMO Antex will start to show its true colors within the next 6 months. DHI .... down a tad. Held up well in down market. RECY .... up and down day. Finally closed down. Acquistions may be announced at any time. RECY has been consolidating in the $6 area recently. Nice base for the stock. NRL .... flat today after upgrade yesterday. PTEN .... our new short term pick ..... closed down a little from our entry price of 11 1/4. THe chart sez "BUY ME". We will see if PTEN has the legs here. APCO .... down a little today after better than 10% move yesterday. Two new deals announced in last two days. These deals are not included in analyst estimates for 98. APCO will have a banner year with the addition of Banc One and Allstate. I'm sure there will be another deal or two before all is said and done. ESV .... up just a tad. The Amigos feel that oil is about to make a comeback very shortly. SRSL ..... held its own today. Nice .... double digits after the market settles down. PURW .... Up 3/4 today after getting hammered shortly after our purchase. Prospects for PURW are fantastic. We expect PURW to continue its upward momentum. CHSE .... got mashed hard with the rest of the market. It is the only amigo stock that really took a hit today. We certainly expect CHSE to rebound and move to the mid - 20s. Amigo Mike
