Jimmy, Take a Prozac why don't ya! First of all, don't blame me for the name my mother gave me. Seriously, I don't know about you, but this forum is wide open to the internet and that includes serious people as well as nuts. I have no desire to have some nut who didn't like a comment of mine have access to my real name (your braver or ... than I). Secondly, I work in the Computer Network Consulting field and for a large industry player, I don't want to risk having any of my comments be reflected as that of my company's. So Jim - regarding my name - GET A LIFE! Talk about being petty. As for your "About Face" on the the challenge you made two days ago. Maybe you should read your own message. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but it clearly was a challenge on NetWare 5 vs NT 5 and I responded. If it was not, I am sorry to all the readers on this thread. Sales Projections are for fortune teller Jim. Since you seem to be one, let me ask you what should be an easy one. What's your projections on WIN98 which should be released even before NetWare 5 (emphasize the word "should)? With all the variables going on right now in the industry and the Government actions, I would be surprised if your projections are within 40% of actual for the first 3 quarters. The simple point I was making in my response to you was that the Novell technology is superior to that of its largest rival Microsoft. Almost every industry study has verified that. I agree that this in itself does not a good share price make, but, for the IS Director that needs to know which platform will best run his/her enterprise, this is important! If this realization returns to these industry players, then this will be reflected in increased market share. With all the troubles that are facing Microsoft right now (i.e. several release date commitments all slipping further back, anti-trust litigation on several fronts, and an increasingly more critical industry media on Microsoft) Novell may not be as scary a decision for the IS Directors. The industry must shed the "I don't care about the technology - You can't go wrong buying Microsoft" mentality and I believe that is beginning to happen. So - Sorry Jim! You keep working on your Tarrot Cards and Crystal Ball. I would rather look and analyze at what is actually happening in the industry and use that as a basis for my investment decisions. TOYSOLDIER
