Ok I will try one more time .... to explain my veiwpoint on this matter.

However, even if these shares were shorted, how much can we reasonably expect to rise from this current level?

Answer: Only one way and that is to get a group of investors that believe in the stock and accumulate in thus reducing the amount of free trading shares.

Again, assuming these shares were shorted, then why would the covering push us above the level when it started to be shorted?

Answer: Well if investors are buying in it will go up and as it rises on solid interest the postion that may or may not exist but if it does and they have to buy to cover the position then the price will rise again on buying.

If there were so much shorting, why didn't the stock go to sub-penny status?

Answer: It is a loved stock as you can see from the volume today. This thread is positive except for some. Now with buying and selling it keeps the stock from falling to that range though it has almost made it as the chart clearly shows.

It seems to me that the Reg holders did short the stock, but I am not sure they shorted a lot.

Answer: Who knows for sure but if everyone starts selling you can be it will go there without a doubt. However as long as there is buying it will struglle to get there. You have to figure in the people in at the top also who might be averaging down to lower their AMSC.

Again, if they did, this stock should have gone well below 1 penny.

Answer: LOL No true but it could though depends on sells to buys.

If they did short a substantial amount, then why would the stock shoot
up more than it shot down?

Answer: Just because a stock is shorted which by the way I believe all OTC stocks are shorted does not mean it will see the subpenny range. It will find a base or rather a new floor where people will find it interesting and buy mor.

Happy Trading
