Jim, I'll have to check the policy manual for the definitive answer to that one but, off hand, I would say the coven rituals to which you refer are not confined to the souls of males, for such would be highly discriminatory and politically incorrect, don't you think? While it is true that some souls may be unsuspecting, they are by no means undeserving.
