Ali babble,
Re -- 100x3 K6 will match the P-II-300 in all applications;

But biggest bang for the buck comes with its 300-MHz system. An American mini-tower with a 300-MHz Pentium II, 64MB of memory, and a 2.1GB hard drive sells for $1,359.

You think AMD can make money?

Ali,

K6 vs. K6/3D:

How much lower in power consumption is 3D? Why are you so sure 3D can remove all that heat? What is the thermal coefficient compared to K6? What is the die size?

Speed and performance speculation of 3D is healthy, but please keep in mind that this 3D device is not out yet. By the time, it is out. It just may be a little bit too late --- obsolete by competitive products.

Is this worth to pay a bit more? I do not think so. There are so many questions and so many unknowns!

John.
