No clear answers right now. Futures are down 2 - 3 points and the Asian markets are holding up OK. When the overall market is uncertain, you have to focus on individual plays - news, earnings, TA, whatever you like to follow. Pay particular attention to stocks which are going against the trend. A colleague here has held SFNB since the 7's, and it's now at 13. I'll be looking into it further today. Yesterday was not a great day to open new short positions since most stocks gapped down so far. I shorted small amounts of NTKI (secondary offering) and ASDV (TA - specifically overbought stochastics and chart weakness down to the low 40's if it doesn't move up again). I will put tight stops on both in case the tide turns. Stay nimble or get trampled, that's all I can advise right now.
