Nice article on INTC woes: forbes.com As advertised here INTC will do very very well once Merced comes out and everyone realizes it'll be nice to speak to your computer. In the meantime take your best guess. ---- Also highlights the very important reason for the paradigm shift - Don't need a faster processor when one spends 70+% on the internet. (This is why I got a bit scared with the CS announcement - for LSI we could care less that the PC segment is hurting but we would care a lot if networking slows down in any shape or form. Actually computing slowdown will hurt somewhat but hopefully not that much.) ---- Shane.
