The stock got pounded in an up market and is up (over three days) in a troubled market on volume. I agree with you sir. Put tea leaves and the bible aside because this stock is trading higher toward the earnings announcment. Could see some weakness over the next trading session because of schoolyard association.

Thanks for posting Lane's remarks. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy that we won't get bombed next week. I'm just amazed that the COO would make these comments so close to the earnings release; isn't there a mandatory quiet period?

Robert, Thank you for timely information, which is somewhat positive for ORCL, that is further confirmed my decision to cover my ORCL short position termporary this morning is correct. I guess street is looking for 19c, not 23c. Whatever it is, I would consider Mr. Lane's comment is more toward positive side at this time.
Good Luck

Oracle sees no surprises in Q3 results, you had better cover soon.
"Last time we came in four (U.S.) cents under the market. I don't expect to surprise the market
this time," ORACLE COO Ray Lane told Reuters.
