Thanks for the response. I have seen lines piggybacked as you have described. Be interesting to find out. Was there a pucker factor when the valve blew? I'll bet the motorists never new anything happened. Have a good weekend.

Ditchdigger, thank you for your posts, your insights are certainly interesting. As you know the pipeline will most likely be expanded to a dual pipeline as production increases. My guess is that they will take the quickest and most economical route for the first pipeline to get some cash flow. After that when it comes time to double up I think they will modify and concentrate on what is best for the long term. We both know that these decisions were already made, IMO the construction time schedule is feasible. Ed
