Born and raised in eastern KY, but have lived in RI since 1982. I do windows, that is, I'm an independent software development consultant in the Windows NT area. I have done business with many hi-tech firms in MA, so you may know of me that way. Are you in the hi-tech business? CASE tools perhaps (this is the CAYN thread after all)?

One down, two to go.
Looks like Select Software is trading places with the old Cayenne.
Select is one of 3 competitors mentioned during the CAYN conference call (in addition to Rational and LogicWorks).

Select Software shares fall on big loss

Shares in Select Software (SLCTY) dropped 26 percent Friday after the
maker of software modeling tools reported a wider-than-expected loss
and its chief financial officer resigned. The company said it lost 22 cents
per share, excluding one-time charges, compared to analysts' expectations
of a 20 cent per share loss. The British company also said it had to clip $3
million from the sales in the previous quarter, when it also fell short of Wall
Street expectations. Shares, which have lost nearly two-thirds of their
value over the past year, fell 1 25/32 to 5 1/32.
