Jon,

The exchanges disseminate quote and trade information via separate data feeds, a bid/ask line and a last sale line.

SIAC reports NYSE/AMEX information via the CTS (consolidated trade system) and the CQS (quote) lines. Not sure of the mechanics behind the NAZ but they do report trades and quotes separately. This probably explains the anomaly and it most likely wasn't specific to the Townsend Analytics feed.

Same with OPRA (options) if my memory serves me correctly.

Same thing happened with DELL and INTC this morning on BMI
