Astonishing is hardly the word. It happens so frequently I would have to say it is de rigueur.

Connotation or Slander I am a contrarian by nature and by choice. I have received several queries, warnings, boots, suspensions etc... from SI. I hold viewpoints often considered unpopular in the threads in which I post them. I am anonymous, I may have other identities, I claim that I don't. purething may be Surething, who can tell. I like to think that when I get kicked off, someone else will too. I don't complain about people, usually (heheheh), and I don't expect Jill to save my ass, I do my best to protect myself. I post to myself a lot, then when I get those mean-spirited messages I have no one to blame but myself. Now that I know I can forbid other posters from talking to me, I can get it down to zero messages a day. Heaven forbid.
