DBCC competitor, Bloomberg, laying down biggest net players?

Bloomberg to be USA Today supplier

Bloomberg L.P. will begin distributing its financial data, stock quotes and portfolio information to USA Today Online. The material will be published on a co-branded site called Market Scoreboard within the USA Today Web site. The first data will begin to show up next month. The agreement also includes use of Bloomberg news reports throughout the Web site.

"Our new partnership with Bloomberg will provide real-time market information and expert analysis," explained Lorraine Cichowski, USA Today Information Network vice president.

This is Bloomberg's third recent high-profile content distribution deal, seemingly pursuing a strategy to make its name a consumer brand for news and information. Prior announcements have included a co-branded investment news site in cooperation with CNET , and a deal for Bloomberg to become the premier financial news provider for America Online..."

Hi! I'm curious of what happened to the plan to distribute quotes with the digital satellite dish (DISH) which was announced several months ago? Did that fall through?
