Hi Everybody,

This is a season of contradiction in the PC/CHIP market:---DELL posted Higher earnings with higher forecast for the future; INTC warned of lower earnings; CPQ warned of lower earnings but growing market share! (Corporate PC's slowing but Consumer PC's growing; North American market slowing but European market growing; Asian problem impact, still to come)...Meanwhile Silicon Valley, where many workers are already holding double jobs is in a hiring binge!...(home values rising and apartment rents skyrocketing...)...

For AMAT investors, those longer termed oriented ones are buying in the 30's from those who are selling now to buy them back later in the 20's...(Could Big Bucks please re-post his favorite chart showing AMAT's stock prices with Up and down quarterly earnings superimposed? We could see from the chart that whenever AMAT reports successive lower earnings---the stock's prices are rising; successive higher earnings---the stock's prices are sliding!...)

This is really a season of contradiction...
