The incidence of valvular disease as reported from the inital FDA survey is > 30%, and you think it's likely to be higher? You are the someone with access to some numbers on echo's done on phen-fen and Redux patients, what are you seeing to make this statement.
The precedent is that drug companies are not held responsible for the testing for potential side effects, you have only alluded to the significant numbers of people having echo's, not to the findings of such echo's. If the studies exonerate Redux, the lawyers are going to waste a hell of a lot of money if they wish to pursue a baseless case......something they will not wish to do if they aren't going to recoup these costs.
