It seems as if a lot of the valuation is TMAR is concentrating on earnings. Don't oil service stocks normally trade on cash flows. I am going to take a look at the cash flow numbers to see if TMAR's valuation is reasonable. Based on earnings it looks like a bargain, but that might not be the correct way to value this company.

David,, Thanks for the information! Let's see how it goes with the additional boats coming out of dry dock. I had lunch with a friend who works for Racal Co, a Company which hires boats that help with offshore positioning. They are doing fine both in the long-term and short-term charters for vessels.. Not a perfect parallel for an offshore supply vessel company, but still indicative of things in the offshore energy industry....

I caught the tail end of Maria's comments on TMAR. The first part of the announcement was that Louis Bacon (Moore Capital Management) has taken a 5.2% stake in TMAR. Bacon filed with the SEC March 5. This along with Michael Price's 9.2% sure seems to be good news.
