I see that spring Internet World is next week in LA. Novell has had a habit of going down during trade shows.

Steve:

<<
... The bashing continues, in spite of the recent stellar Earnings, Price performance, Up grades and World wide multiple Product Awards (nine in six months.)
>>

Above is the my original statement which is a defense against the bashing. Product Awards are real and I posted the article here. As we see the quote above does not include any data, as you alluded...

Frankly, I take pride in being a good enough investor to make money with honesty. I consider "Making up data" and "touting" dishonest. Your letter prompted me to review my posts. I am proud to report that there is not one sentence nor word that is made up. There never will be, or else I will first have to break all the mirrors in the World-so as never see myself in them! Please allow me the hyperbole. <G>

Hopefully you are satisfied. I am.

Have a great weekend and let's help one another to make money.

Seren

Ps.
Watching the Market with interest. I am becoming defensive here. All my short term positions (including the few shares of NOVL I bought yesterday, for trade only) are sell candidates today.
Core positions, Novell included, will be held.

A short simple attempt at explaining the current NOVL stock position

The longs, particularly institutions holding the stock, but also smaller investors, have noticed that this uptick in NOVL is a point better than at any time they may have been able to get out since last August. They are looking at the fundamentals and taking the opportunity to exit.

The first group of new longs like Serep etc. bought in at 7-8 and now think they are going to make real money. They have been followed in by the second group of longs, those reading about a Novell "turnaround" and buying at these 10 plus prices or put into the stock by their brokers as a small cap play.

Now comes the point in time where the volume diminishes. Are institutions really buying into this stock? Or are we left with just the second group of longs, which in my opinion doesn't have the buying power to sustain an upward move on no news. And what happens when the shorts and the momentum players find no more momentum?!
