OK, how about an "IPOP" measure? Internet-POP measure: My slanted reading of the zdnet.com "top 100 cities" article lead me to come up with an "IPOP" rating (just happens to support large price for CVUS stock). Here it is: reading between the html: METRO San Fran has about 190K internet users METRO Boston may have about 130K internet users METRO NYC has 2.3 Million internet users* * article doesn't say, but Millions of white collar workers flood into the Apple from the surrounding farm areas the FCC calls New York.
