The important thing is to know how many shares were filed to sale, and as you said this maybe a for a personal purpose. Also remember insiders gets stock incentive as part of their salary and since the stock been depressed for so long, this bring a good time for filling to sale in anticipation of price rise as we get close to earning release. This also may indicate a good earning surprise.
