Hey, I'm outta here!

Another short who can't take the heat, that's me. I will be back, but not for a while. My pricing model has AMZN worth maybe $20, and I sold short at around $60. Had a mental stop of about $75 and blew through it. Bought it all back, whimpering.

I'm coming back after the secondary, in time to be short for the 2nd quarter earnings release about July 17, presuming the secondary takes place before then.

Good luck to all until then.

A bit of news that I haven't seen anybody else report:
While Amazon is still sales tax free, Barnes and Noble is starting to charge sales tax for several big states, and I believe this practice will spread until Barnes and Noble is tax collector all over this fair land. The book shopping engines do not seem to reflect this difference yet. The tax is charged on shipping and handling as well as the books. Here is a quote from the Barnes and Noble site:
"Please note: Sales tax is applied to orders shipped to IL, NJ, NY and VA.The Goods and Service Tax (GST) is applied to orders delivered in Canada."

This should give Amazon some relief in the price wars.
