I accept your correction. I don't know the U. Chicago student body first hand but I did Sloan's (it may have changed since I left), plenty of students with quantitative training. The program is also highly quantitative and for one thing, the Operations Research (OR)people are more highly regarded and respected than in other business schools at which such disciplines are being (have been) phased out (such as Harvard). Also there is lots of healthy interaction with the engineering school that is why I used to TA there my PHD is on OR and did my work in EE and CS but used to cross over and work with professors at Sloan.
