I talked to Thomas this morning and have a bit of info and a few comments.
1) They are presently core drilling and are on target 8 or 9. They are drilling more than one hole per target -which is a good sign since they may be doing delineation drilling at 45 deg.!

2) News could be this afternoon or within two weeks -P.Power plays that close to chest. ASE is very tough these days and is watching Montello under microscope.

3) Yes they have overburden -but it was known prior to drilling and it is not extensive.

4) Surface anomolies -such as lakes and different forests types etc. only help if you do not have overburden (which makes good sense when you think of it) But they could easily be the granite basement coming to surface. (I other words -surface anomilies are not necessarily a good sign if there is low overburden )

In general -I got a good feeling. But lots more work to be done. JP

PS the rumor of R/C drilling is a good thing. It allows for a bigger sample to be taken than a simple core. :^)
