Well, INTC's president is certainly trying to make sure that the stock goes back down. Early this monring he was quoted in the news as stating he didn't understand why there was softness in the market. Later this afternoon, he said that the softness continues throughout US and Europe. It is bad enough that INTC management waited for the problem to be a $650 M problem before disclosing such to its shareholders but now they are trying to talk the price down further by making comments that add nothing substantive to their earlier bombshell.
