Henry, isn't GM-CSF the same as Leukine (Immunex), while G-CSF is Neupogen (Amgen)? Just curious.

And, is one to understand that Ligand "mimics" would work intracellulary at the STAT level, as opposed to directly inducing dimerization of the extracellular domains of the respective receptors (as allegedly being tried by AxSys ne Arris)?

Henry, >> Maybe Bernie can review his notes & post an update. << At the breakout sessioon for LGND at the H &Q conference this Jan., I wrote the following item in my notebook, " With SKline- oral EPO & GCSF - SK extended the timeframe { of the deal with LGND } - drug in 2005." While I'm writing this stuff down, the session is continuing with more being said. I have to be judicious enough to write down enough to trigger a response from Henry, while continuing to listen to what's being said, so as to write down anything else that I think is important. It's a beach. Bernie

I'm not a guy who deals well with mechanical devices. I bought a tape recorder & cassettes before the conference but never got around to learning how to work it. If someone wants to suggest which is the best easy to use recorder & tape set, I'll be happy to buy one & try to learn how to use it.
