He is correct. Most reverse splits can be purchased for a reduced price before the split and a further reduction just after the split.

BUT...... This is not your usual split. There hasn't been the usual anticipated pre split sell off which should have occurred all ready. Most companies don't give 4 months notice to share holders of the pending split. There are some players holding PLPT in the 2 area. The short term play is hard to figure. The Fledgling Newsletter hotline recommended buying below 2 for a short term trade but has a hold on it for current owners. What would make this go up more before the split? ....News?

If you like PLPT for the long term I wouldn't sell. If you do plan on selling I wouldn't sell for a couple of more weeks or until the next press release. The over riding factor.....Will you be able to buy PLPT below $8 after the split? If so, will your timing be right enough to get back in before it goes back up? A target of $5 after the split isn't unreasonable but....again this isn't the usual reverse split.

This has been a very interesting company to follow the past few months. The 60 day holding period for the preferred shares has come and gone. Evidently MSFT and others are planing on holding through the reverse split. It may be wise to do the same. Just my 2 cents.

Del

Morning Gents, thanks for the info. re: reverse split. I will wait, and see what comes of it all. I do believe that this is a bit diff, than the run of the mill thing. But I need to see substance first. I want to see some earnings, and/or confirmed contracts. More GTE stuff and the likes. Any orthe info. from current shareholders re: split, ect... is appreciated. thanks.A.W.
