All: According to CNBC, Morgan Stanley is having a high-tech semiconductor conference out here on the West Coast next week. I assume that CY will present at the conference. CNBC said that primarily the CEOs of the companies will make the presentations. Does anyone know if and when CY will present next week? Hopefully, their presentation will go over better than at the Robertson Stephens conference in the Bay Area a week ago. Prior to and after that, funds were selling the stock like mad.

Since then, we've had that big volume (5 million) share sell off to 8 1/4, with 1.5 milion shares alone sold at 8 1/4. Ever since then, the MMs having been pushing this stock up, no doubt to sell off their inventory. Let's hope they keep it up next week and they push the stock back above 10. According to CNBC, investors are buying semiconductor stocks now for a rebound in the second half of this year. That remains to be seen.

Can anyone give me your opinions on this and info you have on the Morgan Stanley semiconductor conference? BTW, it seems like brokerage houses are having a technology conference every week somewhere. The grand daddy of them all, the H&Q technology conference, will be held at the end of April in the Bay Area.

"She rides a witches broom" Example: Stock at 18 last summer, George Soros buying CY and IDTI on belief SRAM market turning. Instead stock falls faster than a pumpkin off a roof. Or today - funds selling CY shares all week long, then late buying sends CY up for no apparent reason...

raven, might also be able to shed some light on the broom riding witch as he was the first one to use the terminology to my knowledge.
