Sort've OT: OtherChap-schtick,

I'll make you a gentlemen's wager---oops, is that
too against the law? I'll bet you $50--mano e mano--
that you won't be able to pick up SEEK at $15 on Monday.
I'm not talking 50 virtual dollars either. 50 American.
And I won't take any bidding up. This is the wager. Playing or
not playing. Fait votre jour.

And should I lose--which I won't--I will gladly pay
up. For at that price, I will have scooped up my next
and new SEEK long position.

And just to make it interesting, should you lose, you
won't owe me a thing. You can keep your money. This
is no-lose proposition for you.

Now, as to the merits of what amounts to be a panic-style
post, let's look at what INTC and MOT have done to us
SEEKers. Zilch. Let's stir in the Internet World
conference next week which will get the investment community
even more focused on search engines and all things net-
related. Let's throw in a few cloves of momentum: big buy-side
blocks in SEEK late today. And, for pure speculative spice, let's toss in
a dash of "what if" possible news scenarios. Seems like
a recipe for continued SEEKer happiness. And doesn't sound
like a sour dip to $15 or $14.

In fact, Compaq taking a hit may just help
spirit more investors SEEK's way.

So, the $50 safe bet? Very safe for you.
Are we on?

Best Regards, OC, and all those who SEEK...
