Compaqs problems are in the commerical and server business. Notebook and consumer PC business remain strong. That means Dell must be taking Compaqs market share. Per CNBC

Greg, CNBC said the damage at Compaq is coming from the "commercial or business computer sales"

Dell sells 90% to businesses. Could it be Dell is kicking Compaq?

DELL may be doing great with its model, BUT there is a lot more risk here due to:

1. Realization that the PC business is still cyclical.
2. Increased price competition from CPQ.
3. DELL is trading WAY above its historical PE.
