Peacelover:

I strongly urge you not to buy any on Monday ...
There will be many, many tech companies that will
pre-announce disappoint earnings.

I think the box guys, the chip guys and disk drive
guys are dead.
I think the networkers, the software guys, and the
telecomms will do okay.

We are talking sub-500 pc's (remember, not long ago, it is
sub-1000) by the end of the year, the profit margin
is getting thinner and thinner even the unit volume
continue to expand, so just be careful.

From 34 to 25, it is already 30%, ...
I can feel your pain, ouch ...

Peace
I wouldn't buy CPQ right now(een though I really like this company).
There's something to be said for mo-mo boys, and they will cut
their losses on monday and leave soon.
I would buy when the stock seems to be desperately cheap, when you fee that
it really couldn't fall anymore(and it will!). I am hoping to load
up on cpq in the teens.
good luck!
