Once again this is impossible to say. I do think the market is at a very unstable point with many money managers showing off how they can move the market despite all the bad news. However, they may start selling in order to lock in good numbers for the first quarter but as I have said before MM have usually being caught with their pants down (with cash at its lowest) when significant market declines happen. They are also caught with the highest cash when sharp market increases happen following a period of soft stock prices.

BM from Mars I like you so I will tell you once more: Want to feel better, want to do better, want to understand bubbles, what moves stock prices, learn about the bottom line conclusion from the sharpest minds in investment finance, learn how to approach the market. Then go down to the nearest bookstore and buy and start reading now: A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton Malkiel. Buy the 1996 paperback edition for around 16 bucks.

It is indeed the best investment advice that money can buy. Go and buy it and if you don't like return it and then send me your address and I will mail you a check for another 16 bucks. You cannot lose in the worst of cases you will make 16 books for the time involved in going down to the store.

IMO you should not come close to a share of long or short stock before you read this book! The first few chapters actually talk about bubbles and how after all the markets are not rational 100% of the time.
