Mike - Re: " Intel/Microsoft moves to the UNIX market:"

This is a build up to the Deschutes/Slot 2 announcement slated for April 15.

The 350 and 400 MHz Deschutes with full speed L2 cache in the Slot 2 module, along with 100 MHz 440 BX system bus and SDRAM, is going to provide a very serious workstation environment.

Throw in some high speed graphics accelerators and you've got some real horsepower under the hood.

Intel is trying its darndest to get the Unix Software applications ported to Windows NT as fast as possible to help sell these new Slot 2 machines.

Right about now we can use a sales boost!
