Frank - It was explained to me that they drill straight down to test for the presence of the pipe. If they find one -then they drill at 45 degress from one side. This is to determine the size of the pipe. I would think that this could be a good sign if they are only on the 8 or 9th target.
As far as R/C drilling -Ashton just anounced that they will be doing R/C drilling so they can get a bigger sample. Maybe this is why Montello is being rumoured to be switching. We have to remember -Montello is looking for diamonds -it is only us stock market players that are looking strickly for kimberlite. JP
