Mostly <OFF Topic> OH the world of OTC:bb's! Oh no! Has KZAP been driking again? No, just fighting sleep! CSMA is in the OTC world. Just like so many other little companies we see 'down here' everyday. I look at SI as a investor community, and we live in the bb section. This is the slums of the stock market. We are here attempting to catch a ride to the 'other side of the tracks'. Us, and about 10,000 other companies. Have we picked the right one? How many of the ones in TG's contest will make it? The Penny Dow. Dig in! We're in the trenches! That's the only way we can make it. Surely with so many of us placing our 'trust' in our pick of the year. Some of them should actually make it! I for one am going to take a serious look at the Penny Dow, and pick out the 'best' and attempt to figure out which ones have the best chance to make it. I'm hoping TG will post the latest results this weekend. I'm ready to start. It's been two months & one week since the contest started. IMO The cream should start rising to the top. I don't think there has been any real 'break-outs'. (I can't really recall) I believe the contest was to pick the stock you thought would have the largest increase by the end of 1998. From that simple 'rule', I don't think there was but a couple of stocks picked that were Listed companies. (Now I'm not sure.) <Farther off topic> I personally am invested in 18 stocks at the current time. 3 are over $10, 3 are between $1 & $10, the remainder is under $1. (3 are under 10 cents) 3's a charm. I like charms I guess!<g> I'm looking for a few 'Gems'. My favorite stock is easy. After that, I can't really say. I have a lot invested in CSMA. I would like to see it get listed. Just like everyone else. I think maybe it's like if they can succeed, we personally will succeed. That is why I believe so many 'fights' happen down here. Too much emotion. Are you too attached to your stocks? Have you had an emotional experience with your stock?<g> Investors are really emotionally attached to their money! JMHO So many times I've heard "Don't invest what you can't afford to lose." If those down here were actually following those guidelines, discussions would be more laid back and 'fights' would not happen so often. IMO of course. Am I getting too personal here? These are just some of my thoughts. They come from following 18 stocks and about 25 threads. And on almost every thread, someone is manipulating the stock, shorting the stock and hyping the stock. This is the world of bb's! "As the BB's turn!" "Another BB" "Day's of the BB's" Anyone want to start a new thread with me? Thanks to those who have read this post! Hope no one is offended by it. Have a great weekend! May all your investment dreams come true! KZAP
