The computer industry is fighting a losing battle no matter how many how much vapor-ware hype and speculation they continue to issue. Is there one company in the world producing camera and transmission equipment for progressive scan deployment by the nation's broadcasters? HDTV is coming soon and it will be 1080 lines of interlaced scanned, VSB transmissions delivered by the nation's local broadcasters. Gates loses and CE manufacturers, broadcasters and, especially, Zenith win big. Even the DBS companies are all going with 1080i.
