The Bashers and other Tales... On the 27th of February the bashers showed up on this thread and over the next 500 posts we have been trying to counter their misinformation and to improve communication between management and the investors. We have come a long way in the past week in creating a responsible board that discusses the stock in a reasoned fashion. We have lots of data at our disposal now. We can counter the bashers with just a few keystrokes by posting actual numbers, explanations, scenarios, etc. The basher/shorts will be back when we have our next big gap up. So be prepared, be calm, stay focused on preserving shareholder value. For those of you who do not know why the bashers come out of the woodwork when a bb stock gaps up here goes: The marketmakers short, (short means to borrow shares and sell them at the market peak or near it), the stock at its highs, they are betting that it will go down but they do not want to take chances if the number of shares borrowed is large so their minions fan out and wreak havoc on the poor bb stock. The typical BB stock has few resources with which to defend itself and usually its investors are "hoping" or "praying" the stock is as good as the hype says and are woefully ignorant of the stock's fundamentals. Some short interest in a stock is healthy because it is an indicator that there is debate going on in the marketplace about the relative worth of a stock. All stocks attract short interest on gaps up because 9 times out of ten gaps up are followed by a succession of down ticks, this is just a reasonable opportunity to make some money and cover time is usually within the same day. This last week the shorts have had a lot of fun with our little stock, don't worry they'll be back. But this time the board will be organized and prepared to answer any and all criticism
