[ "THOSE DARNED DAYTRADERS"-----"THOSE DARNED DAYTRADERS!" ] Joe? I think your statement makes a lot of sense. I've heard big wig professionals complain on the air about daytraders. They say "these daytraders" are acting like kids on a pinball machine. What the heck is wrong with that?? They may respond by saying confusion results from this wild unreasonable behavior for the more dedicated investor. Also, making it easier for something called market "frothing" to take place, which they view as a sign to prepare for the step to follow, a severe drop in market prices. Fearing that, and the damage it brings, they are very concerned and strive to control it. This wonderful technology, allowing us to act on quick decisions from the comfort of our own homes, has a lot to do with that. I don't want to admit it is to blame for any danger because the "government", be it national or NASDAQ or a combination of both will proclaim that we, as their "babies", must be taken care of and may move to take away large portions of this wonderful freedom. Any one who can stand up on their own two feet and decisively move into and out of one or several securities in a short period of time is #1-A"OK" in my book, and seeing their names "plastered all over the S I Threads" warms my heart (if you'll pardon the expression) because it lets me know this freedom is alive and well. Daytraders perform a valuable function. I would like to be one! If what the big wigs say is true, I've done my DD and qualify!freecartoons.com ....tells me I'm young enough to take it, and smart enough to know they needn't remove any freedom from me for being a "kid at heart". For me, "Joe PTG&LI !!!" ....is right. (I'm beginning to like "those letters"!!) Now....IF I ONLY HAD THE $$$$$$$$$$ <vbg>
