Gary, - " Being a player myself, and I know I have mentioned this before, I don't care about computer chips or experts - two different people playing the same programmed machine will play differently."

Absolutely Gary, the vgms are nothing but a means of interchanging capital, amongst interested parties, much like the markets of the world. The differences among players is the winners know enough to walk away when they are up. Gambling is not so much chance as it is a "money management system test" of the individual. Proper self-control can overcome the "stacked deck". I once put $100. into a blackjack game, and won virtually every hand of the shoe (6 decks). It was but 10 minutes into the game, and I was up $900. I had planned on playing for hours, not minutes, and here I had already won 9X what I put into the game. Dealer says to me it was one of the winningest player shoes he had ever seen. Tells me I couldn't do any better if I played for the next 2 weeks, so why continue playing? Tipped him $25.00, went to the bar, and had a double. Lesson learned.

Gary: I concur that, among the three hurdles I mentioned, the Senate is the biggest. I have always felt the "illegal lottery" angle Beasley and Condon are playing is tortured logic driven solely by political interest (namely Beasley's re-election). Based on the magnitude of victory in the 1994 vote, I would be surprised if video gaming would lose if another vote was held. But the Senate...thats another story. So often reason, right, and logic seem to play no part in political decisions.
