Clerkin Clearly No Cleric, But Divinely Inspired...

Yeah, I was wondering about that myself. He shorted
after the RUMOR which, by the way, I started... on the basis
of some conversations with online media folks. It was and
is a RUMOR. And all I get are winks and nods from other online
media folks. Which is about as meaningful as anything in this
world of investment-on-innuendo.

( But, why short on the basis of a single post and re-post
by me? My last name isn't Greenspan. SI, while certainly influential,
isn't going to move the market one way or t'other. And I made
it abundantly clear that I was passing on a RUMOR. Almost
as substantive as the claim that Al Gore is currently undergoing
personality implantation, benefitting from a bit of new biotechnology
that is being touted as the next big product by some bulletin board
stock. )

Oh well, it appears our Right Reverend, no disrespect meant,
might have been, well, wrong.

Now, back to Infoseek-istan, a very growing and prospering
country of new investors and old. Though in my usual haunts I
completely refrain from making predictions, I will predict
that SEEK will have at least one day next week at 22. And
I'd place a wager on that fact, but currently I can't because,
awfully cautious guy that I am, I took my 75% profit and clearly
marked exit point quite literally. So, without a real vested
interest in the upside of SEEK, except I'd like to see lots of nice
folks on two threads and at least two countries prosper,
I'm not willing to put money on $22. But, if there's any hesitation
on the uphill grade next Monday, I may yet re-enter... for a LONG
or just week-long play.

As the good Mr. Clerkin points out, there's just too much
steam in this engine and internet category to be ignored.

Have A Wonderful Weekend, SEEKers

>Dell rumor true or not, it doesn't matter.

i bet seek will start trading at 17 1/2 on monday, and
drift towards 15 by the end of the day. Yahoo is due for
a collapse, it's price has ballooned to absolutely
absurd levels recently due to a short squeeze.. When it
tumbles 20% in one day, the rest of the engines better
look out..
